Had a terrible experience with them yesterday.
See this is how it began.
Went to Rustan’s to buy something… ended up buying some thingS…..
Then headed to SM to check if they have sweet soy sauce for my Chai Tow Kway experiment….
Ended up buying a lot of things so I had to bring those heavy bags to the car
I was parked in Glorietta 3 Parking….
I was in G3 and there’s an excalator going down to a parking lot (basement)
I wondered if I could use that to go to where I was parked, and also to ask if that parking lot and the parking lot where I was parked is one and connected.
Asked the guard. Don’t know what to say to me.
I moved on to the parking teller. She got me confused but told me to go one floor down to use lift there.
Then I noticed there’s some kind of partition there.
I asked the security officer. (Turned out he’s Ascott Security.)
I went to the lift. Guess what the guard asked me. “Are you checked in here?”
I said, “No, not right now. But I have stayed here before. Last year actually.”
Guess what, she turned me away. Me who’s getting dizzy from all the walking around looking for my car and asking people who do not seem to know that simplest answer to my very simple question. To think that’s where they work!
I was so humiliated. I was mad.
Passed by Ascott Makati ground floor in G4.
Told them I’d be needing to talk to their superior about the matter.
Went back after i brought the stuff the heavy stuff in my car which I discovered is just on the other side of the building. And nobody was able to tell me!
I waited for 30 minutes in Ascott. They told me the supervisor is on his way already. I said, “Where is he coming from, Megamall?” It took him that long.
Then turned out that guy is even a much worse ass than the first officer I talked to.
I gave them chance to explain their side, as to why they turn away people like that. Just one or two floors up.
Im in no position to question whatever house rule they have no matter how stupid it may sound. My point is, IT COULD HAVE BEEN EXPLAINED TO ME BETTER. But the officers were arrogant and rude!
I almost broke down and cry there. The supervisor or manager (im not so sure but i’ll never forget his face) were so arrogant. Told him what you want, I check in in here right now so you wouldn’t make me wait this long? Or if i’m caucasian, I know you people will handle this better.
So many details as to how rude they were but I wont write that here entirely.
That’s for their Resident Manager/ GM to hear.
Btw, I used to work in Ascott Singapore Raffles Place, we never turn people away like that.
I hate it. Filipinos doing this to fellow Filipinos.
And how much did we pay for their one bedroom executive? And they sucked when we were there. The room flooded for crying out loud!
It’s so not worth it.
I hate Ascott Makati.
