Homemade Filipino Burger
Jun 3rd, 2012 by niceyfemme

Most burgers nowadays are just so disappointing and I can’t help but feel scared for my baby’s health and feel cheated as the burger usually isn’t worth my money. So I decided to make my own. I thought, “How hard could it be?”. And I also want to use my meat grinder. 🙂

This is the second batch on the same day. Shows how much I like it.

Reminds me of Jollibee’s Burger Champ. To be honest and bias aside, I believe this taste even better! Just good old fashioned meaty beef goodness. 🙂 From the first batch.

My healthy but very filling plate of pan grilled chicken, steamed buttered veggies and pancit with lots of veggies. Yum.

Been craving for nasi lemak real bad. One day I saw a local food stall franchise in SM offering the rice of nasi lemak (I tried making it myself but it’s not the same hmmmn) so I bought it and bought a fried chicken wing and good thing I still have the chili of nasi lemak in the fridge and with cucumber pa! So here it is. Nowhere near as good as the real nasi lemak but I have to give it to myself for at least trying haha.

Rediscovered love for Jobee
Jul 14th, 2011 by niceyfemme

I’m a bit plump again from all the eating. I eat when I’m sad and I can’t stop. My self control has been pretty weak these past months I don’t know why. Another bad thing is that I rediscovered my love for Jollibee and I’ve been craving for their Spaghetti and burger yum all the time and I let myself have them (I have to have them together, spaghetti WITH burger) and if I’m totally feeling rebellious I would add in some fries. I’ve been drinking 7-Up too… It’s like I have never had this drink before it’s that good. I need apidexin for everything I’ve been eating! I need intervention… STAT!!!

All the single jabees!

Jollibee strikes again with his flirty dancing! Jollibee is the most popular food chain/ mascot in the Philippines. In fact, it’s so popular you can find a branch everywhere, you won’t have a problem finding one whenever cravings hit you.

I love the last part with all the blinking and flirting haha. He can dance. This made me smile. Nice.

This made me remember the time when going to Jollibee made my day, when my Mom will bring me there to eat and to buy me the toys. Haha I am a proud Batang Jollibee. How nice is it to be 6 years old again when all you worry about is when you’ll be back there to have the next toy available to add to your collection?

A Confession…. I want to be Jolibee for a day!
Sep 30th, 2009 by niceyfemme

I have a long list of things or acts I wanna do in my life…

Some things I’m proud of, some I’d rather keep to myself as I don’t wanna be embarassed…

For the “Im-proud” category hmmmn like, say, travel the globe. But that’s a work in progress hehehhe…

And for the other category which is pretty embarrassing, hmmn is this:

I’ve always wanted to dance like crazy wearing Jolibee’s mascot costume.

Yes. Like this video. Oh and this video made my day. Made me laugh… haha!

Btw, why are they dancing in the street? And Jobee and KFC together? Generous huh? Jolibee’s dancing is so landi heheheh… (flirty)

I can imagine myself dancing as Jolibee in this video heheh…. I want to jiggle that cute belly hahaha!

KFC dance like how a chubby person dance hehe…

I like dancing but the shy part of me, always overpowers me. So if i’m inside that thing then i’m not myself, but Jolibee hehehe…

I also have a lot of theories in life, things I believe in because I personally experience them and have thought about it or analyzed it much.

One is, either dancing or singing or any act wherein you are performing it in front of some people or in public, then you’re subjecting yourself to people’s criticism… We all know as well that Pinoy’s are “harder” with fellow Pinoy’s… So it’s like the perception from the moment you stand in front of them, is more on the “not-really-good” side. Judgment is there already. That I can’t stand hehehhe…

Chori, tao lang ako. (Sorry, I’m just a human being hehehe…)

So if I am Jolibee it’s already on the good side of the likability meter. Everybody loves Jolibee or atleast have a soft spot for him (or her?). If I suck at dancing it’s alright, the more Jolibee suck, the happier people will be…

Everybody wants to be appreciated and not judged…

And I thought this is going to be somewhat a “light” post.)
