Some Pinoy men are so……
Apr 23rd, 2010 by niceyfemme

Malibog. Or immature. I can’t really find the perfect words as I’m really mad now! I’m not saying all Pinoy men are guilty by the way.
Why am I so irritated? I feel harassed by them. Here’s why.

It’s summertime here in the Philippines, and it’s understandable that it’s sooo hot! We went to SM to do our grocery shopping and I wore a black sleeveless tank top and jeans. As I was waiting for Bee to get the car (we were parked so far from the exit of the supermarket and we bought a lot of stuff, I decided to just wait for him there) a group of people passed by me. Then two of them upon crossing infront of me suddenly said, “Ang sarap!” and “Wow!” Then they all looked at me. You know when they are talking to you right? You feel it. I felt offended to I said, “You guys are so stupid!”

Also, some old men upon passing in front of me will really stare in my chest area, only because I’m wearing a sleeveless tank top. They won’t even try to hide that they are looking at me like that how freaking rude is that.
I don’t deserve this. Why are Filipino men like this? Testosterone overload? I don’t dress provocatively. This is actually the reason why I’m so careful wearing anything other than T-shirt and jeans whenever I’m in here. They really look and even stare. In Singapore men are not like that even when girls show way too much skin.

Why is this the case? I mean really? I never dress sexy because I don’t like it when people look at me, more so be the center of unwanted sexual attention.

To those men, please know when a woman is the type you can just do “that” thing you do I so hate. I’m not that type. If a woman show skin, you can look because it means she’s either asking for it or she’s enjoying the attention. If the woman looks decent and IS DECENT, then control your freaking selves! Is this something you do to compensate for insecurity?  Do you need anything like Vigrx to know and feel like the you are a real man? If you think you need that then go ahead but KEEP ME OUT OF YOUR GESTURES. CONTROL YOUR FREAKING SELVES!

I knew it

So I received a call from J a couple hours ago…..

See? I told her this will happen and I have warned her over this but the stubborn woman that she is she went through with it and now less than a week since my fight with Kingkong, I’ve been proven right once again!

I was sooo tempted to tell her “I told you so!” but I stopped myself. It’s not what she needs right now. But it could have felt sooo good to say it out loud. 🙂 Vindication at it’s best form.

Oopppsss! I shouldn’t be feeling this way. Blah! Whatever.

I realized that life is what we make of it. We can choose to live our lives with less drama, simpler and more interesting. Kinda contradicting but works for me when you analyze it well.

This is my goal in my life. Make my life simpler and less complicated. Keep the few good people who genuinely love me close. I believe this will equal to happiness and contentment. And that for me is the primary goal of every single person on Earth. Most people just get distracted with other stuff. We must focus then.

Easier said than done.

A work in progress. Harhar. Blank.

Totality of everything I hate in a MAN: Part I
Feb 2nd, 2010 by niceyfemme

Warning: Niceyfemme’s rant coming over! (If you’re sensitive to these kind of things then better not read what’s ahead.)

I have met him. I knew it before but now I’m sure even more. I won’t mention his name to protect someone close to my heart (Whom we will call J) who happens to be married to him.

How did I come up to this belief? Well he showed me and showed me angrily like King Kong running in the wild.

A REAL man for me is one who is responsible. Knows how to take care of his family. One who places his self last over his wife and kids.

Respectful. Of his wife, mother and his in-laws, women and any living thing.

Industrious. Part of his being responsible is he should know that he needs to work to bring food to the table and NOT rely on his mother to do the work for him. A real man is one who have goals and plans for their future. He only wants what’s best for his kid and will do anything to make that happen and not wait for inheritance to just fall in his fat face.

Gentleman. One who knows how to respect women in general. We Filipinos know that a guy who attacks a woman is GAY. Specially if you are at the wrong. Where’s your freaking balls????? All covered up in fat that there seem none left?

Many more qualities but I’d rather keep this short. After this I want to move on and go back to my serene life.

To you KingKong:

You are a disgrace to Filipino men. You are the total opposite of how I believe Filipino men are. You are an irresponsible rude full-of-air bastard who looks down on people. You do things without thinking what the outcome will be.

You cannot impose the things you like in people. YOU CANNOT ALWAYS HAVE THINGS YOUR WAY. If you’re used to that in your family’s house then forever stay there and you shall forever reign. I AM NOT SOMEONE TO VOW To YOU. SPECIALLY BECAUSE I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU AND AS I TOLD YOU I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR YOU. To think that we have met only a few times and you managed to show me your real colors.

Local Traffic Enforcement Units why can’t you guys answer my call?
Nov 2nd, 2009 by niceyfemme

It’s 2 November. Only now that we will go to the cemetery.

I checked in the internet about traffic advisories etc…

I just need to ask a very simple question. Very simple but I think they forgot to include in their traffic advisories in the internet and news channels.

I just need to confirm something as it’s very confusing. I don’t want to be caught in traffic hell.

I tried calling Quezon City Traffic Enforcement Unit, NOBODY’S picking up! I called Quezon City Police District to verify something but the woman who answered seems annoyed. Wow, talking about public service here.

I tried searching for Manila Traffic Enforce Unit, I can’t find their numbers.

I was losing patience. I stumbled upon Tried calling them. Finally somebody answered and willing to help.

Thank you Big help! You gave me wrong info it turned out!

Please don’t give people wrong info just so I’d shut up… So not nice.

Why can’t we find some help from public enforcement? How come only a private organization who’s doing public service was able to help me???

Edit: Living in the Philippines, like what some of my friends say, needs a lot of patience. I still have faith, someday, someday.

Spanish Prime Minister’s Goth Daughters
Sep 29th, 2009 by niceyfemme

Here’s the 16 year old Laura and 13 year old Alba daughters of Spanish Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero..

It’s not like there’s anything wrong with being goth….

It just happened they’re the first daughters of Spain…. and it’s not expected of them…

What’s expected of them to be like? Or Looking like?

Old-fashioned haircut/hairstyle. Barely there fresh make-up. Conservative Maryjanes. With stockings if possible heheh… BE princess like.

Teenagers go through different phases… They just fell in the goth category…

I fell into the chubby-lita(chubby) category heheheh….

There’s a law that prohibits the press to release their photos in public to protect their privacy.

Unfortunately when their father brought them along to a reception in New York’s MET hosted by President Barack Obama with his wife, they took a photo, all of them there. Then it was posted in the State Department’s Flickr page. They took it out after the Spanish government requested so.

Oh girls we feel you.

Michael Fajatin you make me go “What?!”
Sep 25th, 2009 by niceyfemme

Me being me, I’m always the last one to know what’s in or what’s new…

Like this one… Became a hit with lotsa people…

It was pretty funny… I mean, “Cmon!”

You’re in a respected news program and channel….

Do your job right….

Maybe he’s so tired? Got something going on with his personal life?

If ever the answer to that is yes, He’s not the ONLY reporter with LIFE.

It’s normal yes, but still not an excuse to mess things up….

Oh and what does Manny Pacquiao and Micheal Fajatin have done something in common? THIS.

I can understand if Pacquiao’s like this. After all the punches he got, I can understand hehehe….. What happened to Michael Fajatin? Did he get suspended or anything??

Must be really embarrassing! It’s live TV….

Get your act together Michael Fajatin.. If not for yourself, do it for your kids/family then…. Bad for you and your family but……

I have to say, you make the boring-old-fashioned-so-stiff news reporting fun!

Nature Worries
Sep 23rd, 2009 by niceyfemme

This freaky weather has been getting into me.

This morning until 1300H it was so hot! Sun’s rays hurt my skin.

I get tired easily if the weather’s hot so I slept to revive myself.

Then I woke up with the loud noise of heavy rain!

I noticed the change in weather. Like I said now it’s freaky.

One minute it’s so hot and humid, the next it’s raining heavily.

I remember when I was way younger, around 6-7 years old.

We know very well when it’s gonna rain. The wind will be cooler and slowly the sky will darken then mist or small drops of rain will follow. Gives us time to run for shelter.

Now? NO. Excruciating heat then big drops of rain! In split second!

We have changed how nature does it’s way.

This is just one sign of the severity of damage people has done to nature.

Makes me scared even more of what human kind has been doing to Mother Earth.

I’m worried about what kind of weather my future kids will get to experience.

So please let us do our share in preserving and saving nature.

WE ONLY HAVE ONE.  Where can we go without it?

Like our own mothers, no matter what we do to Her, our Mother Nature still nurture us. But even She has her limits. Let’s not wait for Her wrath.

Chris Brown: Community Servant
Sep 17th, 2009 by niceyfemme

The R&B singer picked up trash and litter and will continue doing the 8 hour work day for the next 5 months. He started doing community service as part of his sentence for beating and choking Rihanna up.

Maybe this will get you into deep thinking.

According to authorities, “Brown begins his 8-hour work day at 8:00 AM when a Department of Corrections bus picks him up, along with 30-40 other offenders. Brown will wear a reflective orange vest and pick up trash and litter along highways and roads. He’ll also have to trim brush along medians, remove gang graffiti from the VCU campus, and wash the inside and outside of law enforcement vehicles.”

Obama to Kanye West: “He’s a jackass!”
Sep 16th, 2009 by niceyfemme

The conversation between  the President and a CNBC news reporter was suppose to be off the record.

But some ABC employees overheard President Obama’s remark and immediately used Tweeter to let everybody know.

It was deleted after an hour but is already too late. ABC apologized to the White House and CNBC anyway.

It was just an informal exchange of talk before the actual interview begins when someone asked the President what his daughter thinks of the “Kanye-West-butting-in-on-Taylor-Swift-on-stage” incident.

“I thought that was really inappropriate,” Obama says. “What are you butting in (for)? … The young lady seems like a perfectly nice person. She’s getting her award. What’s he doing up there?”

Then someone asked, “Why would he do it?”

“He’s a jackass.” The preesident replied. Then asked for the news people to cut him some slack as he’s got a lot going on, meaning more important matters.

Then  the rest was the tweetering thing.

I like him more because of this hehehheh…..

I mean he’s a really cool President. He’s real too.

Where did our taxes go???
Sep 14th, 2009 by niceyfemme

I hate politics. It’s just undeniably dirty. Reason why I never want to talk about it. Why? Because I know nothing good could come out of it. I got nothing to say but negative things about it. I dont wanna complain anymore.

But then I was driving home last night. It was a few minutes before I took this photo, it was raining hard. I was worried. Why? Aside from the heavy rain, IT’S SO DARK! How come there’s no lights in Emilio Aguinaldo Highway? Too few lights in Coastal Road? (We’re paying for crying out loud!)

I hate it that we know for sure that the taxes we pay from our hard earned money aren’t going to good use most of the time. They  go straight to politicians’ pockets and their trips abroad! I cant seem to find one government project that people are contented with and no hocus pocus for sure was done with it. That they didnt try to use some low grade materials so the money they saved will go to their bank accounts.

These are things Filipinos know very well about. It’s so normal we just shrug it off.

It’s just that it’s already a big slap in the face that even something as simple as street lights they cannot provide! I hate it! We need them lights! It’s so dangerous! Driving itself is dangerous enough, add in darkness of night, heavy rain and iresponsible and reckless drivers and we are at great risks!

So many factors we cant control but the simplest we can fix is street lights! Cars are only relying on our own headlights and eventhough sometimes I get a little pissed when they get me “blinded” with their high beams but I can’t really blame them they might really need it….

I prefer not to compare but in Singapore from 1730H-1800H they already have lights on… On their homes/building/HDB corridors even, not just on streets! What more with their streets? It’s so bright I can go home at the latest of hours or at the break of dawn. There you know you’re taxes are being spent well, it’s in good use. So no use complaining, people are contented.

My dear Philippines, when can we see change?

P.S. I didnt even mention the streets here that are just carbon copies of the surface of the moon. You can’t have a smooth and relaxing drive here.
