Meet Beki
Dec 6th, 2011 by niceyfemme

The newest member of our family. 🙂

Bought her when she was barely a month old.  She’s so cute and active. I wasn’t able to resist her even though I still had that fear of falling in love with another pet after our beloved Bambi left us. To be honest, I didn’t really think when I bought her. I just did it.

Mr Pustiso in Pinoy Henyo
Jul 22nd, 2011 by niceyfemme

Oh my G! This made me laugh so hard I am already teary eyed. I love this kind of ‘jokes’, natural, real, unintentional and therefore absolutely funny. I just love the guy’s reaction when his false teeth fell, like he’s so embarrassed and doesn’t know what to do.. Vic Sotto who also cannot help but laugh made it even funnier. Oh the poor guy’s partner laughed as well and it’s like their just all friends hanging out and something embarrassing happened too bad for him it happened when the whole country is watching!

I love shows like this where it’s so light and you end up feeling good. Just feel good shows. I hope there will be more like this. It made my heavy heart a ton lighter with the laughter….

Traditional Filipino Courting Tutorial by Mikey Bustos
Mar 4th, 2011 by niceyfemme

This guy is hilarious! Just the kind of guy who’s guy best friend material. So for guys out there, if you’re not a Filipino and if you happen to fall hard for a Filipina, especially a conservative one like me, follow his tips and you are in the right direction to win her heart. 🙂

For Filipino men out there, It’s good to watch this clip to remind you guys of the traditional way of wooing the womAn you love. Don’t just text her or woo her through Facebook. Nothing beats being face to face and therefore heart to heart. Haha so corny!

Filipino Accent Tutorial
Feb 28th, 2011 by niceyfemme

This guy made me laugh! He’s Michael Bustos and I found this video in Facebook when my cousin JR shared this.

Kind of true though. I still hear some old folks speak this way. You gotta love being a Filipino. 🙂

Barney Stinson’s Stand By Me
Feb 11th, 2011 by niceyfemme

This is hilarious! I only got to watch this scenes of How I Met Your Mother two days ago and I swear, I had to repeat playing this part again and again… I think I played this over and over for an hour and that is with no exaggeration at all.

And he can really sing!

I love how in the last part (when he used an autotune) he sings like he is in a boy band! Like he’s a Backstreet Boy or an ‘NSync member haha.

I’ve always known that Neil Patrick Harris can act but this scenes really made his mark on me. He acts so well he’s so great at being a womanizing arse when in reality he’s a proud gay man.

Is it bad to admit he’s the only reason why I watch How I Met Your Mother? 🙂 He is the life of this show. This is so far my favorite episode ever. I believe that if any other actor plays Barney especially in this scene, this wouldn’t turn out as funny as hell as this.

Clap! Clap! Clap! He’s so black. Legen-dary! (If you know what I mean, right Barney?)

P.S. I hope what he uses in the end really is called an autotune or auto voice tune. I really have no idea about this kinds of things. Not even hdmi video cables or psp cables I need effort to use oh my how embarrassing is this. 🙂

Cool & Funny American dudes in Philippines
Oct 20th, 2010 by niceyfemme

While blog hopping this morning I read about this two American guys who speak great Tagalog and are doing blue collar jobs in the Philippines.

Apparently it’s some kind of experiment they are doing to inspire people after they lost their jobs in US. Tory Chapman and Jason Cowdin used to be Mormon Missionaries  and now they’re doing a different kind of helping by doing odd and hard  jobs  giving Filipinos a good laugh.

As taho vendors in Marikina City.

I miss you crazy Kaka
Sep 2nd, 2010 by niceyfemme

This is one of the reasons why I don’t like getting attached to people and animals, you get used to their presence and you long for it. You long for the moments with them. That’s why the moment I first met Kaka the sweet cat I knew I shouldn’t let my guard down and let myself get close to her since we don’t own her. Now I miss everything about her, like when she smells my eyes, nose and lips when I’m really tired, when she act all funny because she got scared of some noise, when she sees us like we are in scary halloween costumes and she runs back and forth and lastly even when she’d make up noise in the middle of the night to wake us up.

I want to see her again but it’s just not possible. There is pain in the heart whenever I remember and miss her. What to do? I know that if Kaka can speak up and choose, she will choose to be with us. And we want to keep her too, she always gave us reasons to smile and laugh.

I need to guard myself much more carefully next time, to never let myself get close to someone who might leave me. That’s one reason why I kept on breaking up with Bee during the first few months of our relationship, but through the years we’ve been together, he somehow showed me he is here to stay. But still I have to admit I still need reassurance everyday to calm my crazy nerves.

This cracks me up everytime

This is a really funny cat, really. One time I’m doing some writing and I saw Kaka looking like this and I just had to take photos, fast!

And here playing…..

Having pets really make our lives much more fun!

I ♥ Kanto Boys
Aug 4th, 2010 by niceyfemme

When you are feeling down and low, how do you handle it? Well I look for things to get my mind off things, and watch funny videos. And today I felt the need to laugh. And I remembered Kanto Boys. They are a group of Filipino actors who has their respective careers in showbiz who group together to perform funny dance numbers in ABS-CBN’s Sunday noon time variety show ASAP XV, now on their 15th year hence, the XV in it.

Kanto Boys is composed of John Lloyd Cruz (cousin haha!), Vhong Navarro, Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford. Billy and Vhong are dancers meaning they can really dance while John Lloyd and Luis are primarily actors so it they’re not really good dancers that’s why it looks hilarious whenever they try to keep up with the dancers in the group.

I love how “game” the guys are. Not afraid to look funny or even gay because of some dance steps. That for me shows that the man (or in this case, men) is secured with himself and his masculinity.
