Cream Puffs (Improvised)
July 26th, 2012 by niceyfemme

One time I went to Mommy’s office and her colleagues ordered some cream puffs. I had one then another. It tasted new to my taste and I liked it and made a mental note to try to make it myself. I relied to the internet (I love internet!) with step by step instructions… It’s easy to do I found out…

Freshly baked.

It’s a different kind of dough from the ones I already made before. Why? Because you have to cook the dough stove top then bake it. Then you make the custard filling and let it cool completely before you stuff it in.

I didn’t have the ingredients to make a thin ganache so I just melted some fruit and nut chocolate which we always have since it’s the one I like. I added 2 teaspoons of powdered sugar to it. Then just dipped the cream puffs in the melted chocolate. I know it doesn’t look as pretty as I hoped for but it’s really delicious! Mommy said so. She’s my number one critic as always…

I stored half in the fridge and it’s good as well. The custard filling tasted somewhat like ice cream. As I was munching on these babies I found my computer screen in this page below and I had no idea how I got there, these cream puffs are that good.

I’ll try to find the piece of paper where I wrote the recipe. I don’t want to miss a recipe that yielded such yummy results and it was also very easy to do.
