Banana Bread Cupcakes

Confusing title huh? Yeah even I got confused with it but it is what it is. It’s a banana bread recipe that I baked in a muffin pan and the finished product looked like it’s cupcakes.

By the way, I love our small kitchen top oven. Perfect for when I halve a recipe.

I truly believe that the best bananas in the world are from Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines. I mean once you have tasted it, it’s so hard to appreciate other bananas. Sometimes there are 3-4 varieties of bananas at once.

I like bananas obviously and I bought may too much for two people to finish… The bananas are way too ripe already which is perfect for baking so I decided to go ahead and make banana bread. I already have a reliable banana cupcake recipe so I wanted to try a new one.

So I gave it a go. I obsessed with topping it with streusel topping and finished baking it before I realized I shouldn’t have baked it in a muffin pan. Of course it’s not as light as a cupcake because it’s suppose to be bread. But the people who tried it didn’t mind and needed coffee with it haha. They dared say it’s perfect. They wanted to arbor the rest if you know what I mean hehe..

Ooh I forgot to mention that I added bits of fruit and nut chocolate in this recipe. You can see the almost melted chocolate in the photo above.

Alright never mind, whether it’s a bread or cupcake or whatever it tasted great so I’m happy.
