I’ve always heard good things about Kanin Club’s Crispy Dinuguan so I’ve always wanted to try to know what the buzz is all about. I just don’t want to go alone. And I want to go with either Mommy or Bee. We finally went during my last check up in Alabang..
Crispy Dinuguan Php 261
And their Seafood Kare-Kare…
I wanted to have the original version but since I am trying to watch my weight (bummer!) we opted to have the seafood version… I like the sauce and bagoong very much!
We were seated on the second floor… Would have been nicer if they have an outdoor gazebo for eating at night but the second floor area will do for now…
Here’s Bee while I disturb his eating with my picture taking..
Here’s us.. after eating. I was full! Look at my tummy haha.. I also bought their brown rice which is pretty pricey at Php 115 per kilo. I just wanted to try it. It’s fine but it’s an insect magnet. Will not buy again.
So did we enjoy our late lunch in Kanin Club? Yes we did. I like their dinuguan but not to a point where I’ll crave for it. We had leftovers since we weren’t really hungry then and the dinuguan lost it’s crispiness and it turned out to have lots of soggy pork skin (chicharon) and fat. So not healthy! I like their Kare-Kare though.. much better than the dinuguan. So maybe we’ll come back for their Kare-Kare. I love Pinoy food!
