Living small
Jul 20th, 2010 by niceyfemme

I’ve always been fascinated by anything like say appliances with scale that is smaller than usual and yet still functions like the regular sized version. We have two small rice cookers, a tiny ironing board, tiny tiny pan. So this house is something I’ve always wanted.

Cool gadget
Jul 20th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Last week, after Typhoon Basyang hit and left us with no electricity, I headed to SM Mall of Asia (SM MOA) thinking there is electricity there. But I forgot the enormous size of that mall, it was hard I guess for generators to cater to all the stores there that’s why 90% of the mall has no electricity.

I bought this laptop table  in CD-R King. Then we cannot assemble it no matter how we tried. I was a pain in the a$$ actually especially when I thought I have to go back to SM MOA to exchange it. Yesterday I tried my luck and headed to SM Bacoor (which is very near to our place) to have CD-R King people show me how to assemble the laptop table.

To my amusement, even they can’t assemble it. They admitted it can’t be done. So they offered a new one. Lucky for me this one is real easy to assemble and an eye candy unlike the first one which is tad boring. This can be folded too. Easier to carry.

Eye candy!

♥♥♥ Happy Birthday Daddy! ♥♥♥
Jul 18th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Daddy it’s your special day today. I want to cook something special for you, ipapadala ko na lang dyan through FedEx heheheh…. Please do not forget that I love you very much! You occupy one of the two slots with the highest positions in my heart, meaning you and Mommy are the most important persons in my life.

Remember this song Daddy? Gloria by Laura Branigan.. We used to dance to this song when I was young. I love this song! Kaya kahit bata pa ko nun I already knew how to play the radio cassette? Asan na yung tape na yun? Hmmmn…. I love this song and Air Supply and Sailing by Rod Stewart because of you. ;)

Sana sabay ang bakasyon natin next time so we could bond again. Love you Daddy! Super duper mahal ka namin…. Ingat ka lagi and please have healthy food lagi…. I care so much. Dito lang ako. Kami. ♥♥♥

Gossip girl
Jul 16th, 2010 by niceyfemme

OMG. I am such a chismax girl hahah! It’s interesting to know stories about other people. I guess this is the reason why I like browsing celebrity gossip sites. It makes me not think about my life while I read about theirs. Hmmmn I still think I’m pretty normal with this inclination to gossips regarding celebrities. I just have the guts to admit this. :)

Just to clarify though, I am into Hollywood and even local showbiz gossips and not neighborhood gossips ok? That type I hate. Haha.

So Kristine Hermosa is engaged to Oyo Sotto. Wedding will be next year, 2011 and that the pre-requisites for the wedding has been accomplished. Dina Bonnevie, Oyo Sotto’s mom and soon to be Mom-In-Law of Kristine’s confirmed this through an interview in Showbiz News Ngayon with episode last July 12. The mother and son duo has already asked for Kristine’s hand for marriage (pamamanhikan).Hmmmn, they haven’t even confirmed they’re together and now they’re getting married next year? Well, their relationship is an open-secret kind of thing anyway. Good for them. Got this Kristine bit from shannen143.wordpress.com.

Oyo actually looks better with hair and in suit. Hehe. We often walk pass each other in Festival mall years ago and I didn’t find him attractive but he is now. And Kristine of course is really pretty and I find her nice. If I’m the guy I’d want to keep her forever too.

Even SM Mall of Asia has no electricity
Jul 16th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Woke up with no electricity yesterday morning. I’m ok with no water supply, but not black outs. It makes me go nuts! I really need power.

So even though I didn’t have plans to go out of the house, I decided to do the shopping I needed (which I originally planned to do next week when my flight is nearer) right then and there. I just have to leave the house. So I went to SM Mall of Asia (MOA).

Driving to SM MOA was a breeze. No traffic at that time. Hmmmn around 11:45 am? And no matter how much I hate the spiral drive way going up to the parking floors, no choice but to pass there as THAT is the only way up.  I feel like it’s not safe. So steep. And so dark.

Then once I hit the mall I was surprised as it was so dark. NO ELECTRICITY. I really wasn’t able to escape it. :( It’s haunting me. Some stores are closed because of that power interruption. BDO atm machines are all offline. So I wasn’t able to withdraw some money and I only had less than a thousand cash on hand. I still decided to check how things are there. Sayang ang parking fee at gas sa pagpunta ko dun heheheh….

Since I was there already, I headed to CD-R King as we need those laptop fans, which turned out to be at the other side of the vast mall. I ordered the laptop fan.

Because of lack of POS systems of any kind in CD-R King, it took them close to what 20 minutes just to write down that receipt and give me my change. And they do not accept cards, only cash. I don’t know if that’s because of power failure or what.

Pokwang’s Pink Bus
Jul 15th, 2010 by niceyfemme

I just made a post about Kris Aquino’s pink bus recently. Then abs-cbnnews reports that Kris gave it to comedienne Pokwang as Kris’ thank you gift for Pokwang’s support to Kris’ brother, the newly elected President Aquino.

Photo: darlasauler.com

Few months ago, Kris and Pokwang were in the popular pink bus on the way to Valenzuela to campaign for the now-President Aquino and his girlfriend Shalani Soledad. Pokwang was asking the driver how much diesel the bus consumes, how it runs and if it is still in good condition. Kris overheard the conversation then said out loud that if her brother wins the presidency, she will give the bus to Pokwang.

Then just last week, Kris fulfilled her promise and had the bus delivered to Pokwang’s house.

Pokwang, you’re one lucky woman to have Kris as a friend. With pink bus or not, she’s one great friend to have. Just start to worry now about motorhome repairs, maintenance, gas/diesel. But then that’s nothing compared to the convenience this will give you. :)

I want one! Please, please! Haha.

Strawberry Picking
Jul 15th, 2010 by niceyfemme

I want to go back to Baguio. I’ve been there a couple of times but because I was with bad company, I didn’t really enjoy the place much. So I really want to go back with Mommy, Bee and Daddy.

But then come to think of it, the place I really want to go to is in La Trinidad Benguet. I want to experience strawberry picking!

This are the type of things I want to experience. I want a date there than in malls. Malls are so boring already haha.

All the single jabees!
Jul 13th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Jollibee strikes again with his flirty dancing! Jollibee is the most popular food chain/ mascot in the Philippines. In fact, it’s so popular you can find a branch everywhere, you won’t have a problem finding one whenever cravings hit you.

I love the last part with all the blinking and flirting haha. He can dance. This made me smile. Nice.

This made me remember the time when going to Jollibee made my day, when my Mom will bring me there to eat and to buy me the toys. Haha I am a proud Batang Jollibee. How nice is it to be 6 years old again when all you worry about is when you’ll be back there to have the next toy available to add to your collection?

Pink Bus
Jul 13th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Kris Aquino has one. It’s actually a coaster but she had it customized to turn into a small RV with a cutie yellow toilet like the ones I like which is Kohler toilets. There are appliances in there like microwave oven and toaster oven to bring the comfort of home wherever she goes.

It’s so nice I wonder how much she spent to have that nice comfy RV? Hmmmn…..

Passport Renewal
Jul 12th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Ok. I just got back from Department of Foreign Affairs in Aseana Business Park in Macapagal Blvd.

Nakakaloka!

I had an appointment today at 10:30 this morning after I went through the DFA Passport Appointment System online. DFA advised everyone to be there 30 minutes before your appointment time. I wonder why that is at first. Then I knew why. It’s because you have to line up outside before they let you in for processing. It was fun observing. Different kinds of attitude, different personalities. Interesting fashion sense for some. I saw someone who looked like she was from Manga comics. She was wearing two overlapping corsets over a long dark skirt and long sleeved shirt. With our weather I wonder how she was able to stand that. Lined up for more than thirty minutes and it was so annoying when some offsprings of the Gods cut the line. That really made me want to shout at them for having no discipline.

Then once I got in, the Information Counter gave a number. I made friends with people around me who kept me company during the three long hours I waited there. There are 23 processing windows but not all of them are open. My number was 1661. It was only 1420 when I got in so before my number was called 3 hours already passed. I was starving but got nothing to do but wait.
