I lost 5 lbs!
Apr 30th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Yes I did! And in only one week! How did I do it? Well first thing, it happened unconsciously. I’m so stressed, real bad. I didn’t have the chance to eat or I just don’t give much attention to it because I have way more important things to think about than food. Stress really is the most effective diet for me. Like when I lost so much weight way back in 2008 because of unbelievable stress too.

And of course being in this country (which I used to like so much) means you’ll have to do a lot of walking like I mentioned many times before. I guess walking here a day is equivalent to six hours in ellipticals machine hehe– or even more it’s just that you don’t have a choice but to walk. . Nakakasawa na din ha…

I will have to update here. So much has happened, I will have to write it here so I won’t forget them. I have learned so much from some bad people. Karma will come and haunt you down. Please wait for it.

House of which politician?
Apr 26th, 2010 by niceyfemme

My inbox has 2000+ unread emails so I browsed what those emails are about. Then one email titled Manny Villar’s house got me curious. To be honest I have read about this before–I was just curious if this is the house they’re referring to.

I was just in awe looking at it again. The pool so nice. The bath tub? I’m speechless. I can’t even find the words. All I know is that I would be happy with those simple walk in tubs that’s not as expensive as the one in these photos. Bubble bath and scented candles plus some bath salts is just prefect for me to release stress.

Games of luck
Apr 26th, 2010 by niceyfemme

I tried to again join a raffle. The prize? A car. I don’t need another one but if I ever win I already thought about what I would do with it. I’ll sell it. Then buy a piece of land. I’m a sucker for games that involve luck. Hehe.

During Bee’s and I’s monthsary, (yes we do celebrate if possible) we went to Tagaytay (note to self: make a separate post about that) and played in the casino. Just those slot machines hehe. I told him I’ll only spend P200 and that’s it. Funny that we didn’t even know how to operate those slot machines. Then when we got the hang of it we started winning then nada. P200 gone. But it was fun we enjoyed it.

I never really win at anything. Or at least the chances of me winning anything is pretty low so those very few instances ย I distinctly remember.

Daphne Paez had some contest in her blog that has nice prizes like what some people are claiming to be the best wrinkle cream. I’m still young and thank God I still do not really need it but I want to try it and of course for Mommy as well– not that she needs it. I’m proud to say that my Mom has no wrinkles yet at her age of 50. I tried joining a couple of times but my got nothing hehe.

I realized it’s not really the prize sometimes I’m after (though it would be nice if I actually win and get the prize) but the thrill and excitement of the thought of what if I win.

That’s the reason why I used to be addicted to trying my luck in lotto. Hehe big time.

Grey’s Anatomy
Apr 25th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Btw, I’ve been watching past seasons of Grey’s Anatomy. It’s an awesome show and I wonder when can we expect to watch a show like this locally? Not one where you somehow know the ending of the series after you watch the very first episode.

I love Grey’s A, House MD, Desperately Housewives and loved Prison Break. These are the kind of shows that are worth watching in HDTV‘s. So for now I’ll just content myself with what’s available.

Some Pinoy men are so……
Apr 23rd, 2010 by niceyfemme

Malibog. Or immature. I can’t really find the perfect words as I’m really mad now! I’m not saying all Pinoy men are guilty by the way.
Why am I so irritated? I feel harassed by them. Here’s why.

It’s summertime here in the Philippines, and it’s understandable that it’s sooo hot! We went to SM to do our grocery shopping and I wore a black sleeveless tank top and jeans. As I was waiting for Bee to get the car (we were parked so far from the exit of the supermarket and we bought a lot of stuff, I decided to just wait for him there) a group of people passed by me. Then two of them upon crossing infront of me suddenly said, “Ang sarap!” and “Wow!” Then they all looked at me. You know when they are talking to you right? You feel it. I felt offended to I said, “You guys are so stupid!”

Also, some old men upon passing in front of me will really stare in my chest area, only because I’m wearing a sleeveless tank top. They won’t even try to hide that they are looking at me like that how freaking rude is that.
I don’t deserve this. Why are Filipino men like this? Testosterone overload? I don’t dress provocatively. This is actually the reason why I’m so careful wearing anything other than T-shirt and jeans whenever I’m in here. They really look and even stare. In Singapore men are not like that even when girls show way too much skin.

Why is this the case? I mean really? I never dress sexy because I don’t like it when people look at me, more so be the center of unwanted sexual attention.

To those men, please know when a woman is the type you can just do “that” thing you do I so hate. I’m not that type. If a woman show skin, you can look because it means she’s either asking for it or she’s enjoying the attention. If the woman looks decent and IS DECENT, then control your freaking selves! Is this something you do to compensate for insecurity? ย Do you need anything like Vigrx to know and feel like the you are a real man? If you think you need that then go ahead but KEEP ME OUT OF YOUR GESTURES. CONTROL YOUR FREAKING SELVES!

Apr 22nd, 2010 by niceyfemme

It’s lunch time now. We cooked Sinigang na Baka (Beef in Tamarind Soup) and I told myself I’ll only have the veggies and soup and a little bit of rice, half cup max.

Of course I ate so much I’m feeling guilty now. Remorse. So I called my friend who lost so much weight already and one of the diet pills she mentioned is Lipofuze.

Should I try this? Anyone who has ever tried this? Did it work for you?

I should really get back to the land of hot humid air ๐Ÿ™

Oh and just told Bee to stop me from eating popcorn later.

Fatty couch potato
Apr 22nd, 2010 by niceyfemme

Haha that is me.

Since I got back home that’s what I’ve been doing. Sitting in our comfy couch, eating the stuff I cooked, watch DVD’s, play PSP, basically the good life hehehhe. Enjoy all these while it last. ๐Ÿ™‚

Nobody can blame me. Even Justin Timberlake said that eating is the second best thing to do. Hehe.

Since I’ve been taking in more calories than what I’ve been burning, naturally, I’m gaining weight. ๐Ÿ™ Boo! I hate feeling heavy.

A friend who’s also going through the same thing recommended some effective diet pills ,ย well according to her, for me to try too. But I’m scared. I don’t want. I’d rather walk. Well once I’m back in Singapore I’ll have so much more of that whether I like it or not. But pilling on more pounds is pretty scary. ๐Ÿ™

I don't own this photo....

Why is it that those things that makes us feel good, most of the time is sinful? And the stuff that’s good for us is boring? Or something that needs effort to stand?

I really should not join my Mom and Bee in eating. They have very active metabolism.

Why? Why?

Ivan Dorschner
Apr 18th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Is a real cutie. Haha. I have a slight crush on him.

Haha Vice Ganda is so freaking funny, now. Btw, I’ve seen Vice Ganda perform live in Jayr’s 2004(?) concert, Vice wasn’t as funny then, in fact I kinda find him offensive. Good thing he polished his craft. Ivan is from LA, as in Lower Antipolo daw haha sabi ni Vice. No, really, he’s from Los Angeles, California.

The Best Char Kway Teow
Apr 18th, 2010 by niceyfemme

For our taste that is.

When we tried a popular stall of Kway Teow, the one with the long queue, we didn’t really like it. But the locals love it. So this is more suitable for our Filipino taste buds.

Turns out Char Kway Teow and Dry Beef Hor Fun which is the one we like andย the one in the photo below are two different dishes. Why did I edit this just now? Forgive me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Bee is the one who first discovered this. When most stalls were closed already, this one is still open and we’re glad he tried buying from there. We love it so much that we have this very often. Like here.

Nassim Road
Apr 17th, 2010 by niceyfemme

Where we went on a particular day.

First was in Kabayan Restaurant. I don’t know about other Filipinos but I love the delicious dishes they serve. It’s affordable and if I may say, authentic. I like their Pata Tim and Beef Kaldereta so much I’m surely contented after finishing every meal.
