Since I fell in love with Prison Break I realized I was also falling (hehehhe) with Michael Scofield….

You know “that” look? Like his look in this photo… The squinting look…

I love the voice and the way he talks, the stance, his outlook (yeah I read about him heheh)… He’s my hero….

I have a lot of things to say about him but seems like Im out of words….

Oh I know one thing, if I get lucky enough to meet him, I might faint!

Here’s the theme song…. Just listening to this it gives me the chills…

PRISON BREAK IS PERFECTION.

Im sooo sad it’s over.

Facts About Men
Sep 23rd, 2009 by niceyfemme

cutie!

1. Men like to barbecue. Men will cook if danger is involved.

2. Men who have pierced ears are better prepared for marriage. They’ve experienced pain and bought jewelry.

3. Marrying a divorced man is ecologically responsible. In a world where there are more women than men, it pays to recycle.

4. Men are very confident people. Guys are so confident that when they watch sports on television, they think that if they concentrate they can help their team.

5. Men like phones with lots of buttons. It makes them feel important.

6. Men love to be the first to read the newspaper in the morning. Not being the first is upsetting to their psyches.

7. All men are afraid of eyelash curlers. I sleep with one under my pillow, instead of a gun.

8. A good place to meet a man is at the dry cleaner. These men usually have jobs and bathe.

9. All men hate to hear “We need to talk about our relationship.” These seven words strike fear in the heart of even General Schwarzkopf.

10. Men are sensitive in strange ways. If a man has built a fire and the last log does not burn, he will take it personally.

11. Men have an easier time buying bathing suits. Women have two types: depressing and more depressing. Men have two types: nerdy and not nerdy.

12. Men have higher body temperatures than women. If your heating goes out in winter, I recommend sleeping next to a man. Men are like portable heaters that snore.

13. Women take clothing much more seriously than men. I’ve never seen a man walk into a party and say “Oh, my God, I’m so embarrassed; get me out of here. There’s another man wearing a black tuxedo.”

14. Most men hate to shop. That’s why the men’s department is usually on the first floor of a department store, two inches from the door.

15. If a man prepares dinner for you and the salad contains three or more types of lettuce, he is serious.

16. Male menopause is a lot more fun than female menopause. With female menopause you gain weight and get hot flashes. Male menopause – you get to date young girls and drive motorcycles.

17. No man is charming all of the time. Even Cary Grant is on record saying he wished he could be Cary Grant.

18. When four or more men get together, they talk about sports.

men-party

19. When four or more women get together, they talk about men.

20. Men are less sentimental than women. No man has ever seen the movie THE WAY WE WERE twice, voluntarily.

21. Most women are introspective: “Am I in love? Am I emotionally and creatively fulfilled?” Most men are outrospective: “Did my team win? How’s my car?”

22. If a man says, “I’ll call you,” and he doesn’t, he didn’t forget… he didn’t lose your number… he didn’t die. He just didn’t want to call you.

23. Getting rid of a man without hurting his masculinity is a problem. “Get out” and “I never want to see you again” might sound like a challenge. If you want to get rid of a man, I suggest saying, “I love you… I want to marry you… I want to have your children.” Sometimes they leave skid marks.

24. Men are self-confident because they grow up identifying with super-heroes. Women have bad self-images because they grow up identifying with Barbie.

25. Men forget everything; women remember everything. That’s why men need instant replays in sports. They’ve already forgotten what happened.

Nature Worries
Sep 23rd, 2009 by niceyfemme

This freaky weather has been getting into me.

This morning until 1300H it was so hot! Sun’s rays hurt my skin.

I get tired easily if the weather’s hot so I slept to revive myself.

Then I woke up with the loud noise of heavy rain!

I noticed the change in weather. Like I said now it’s freaky.

One minute it’s so hot and humid, the next it’s raining heavily.

whoah!

I remember when I was way younger, around 6-7 years old.

We know very well when it’s gonna rain. The wind will be cooler and slowly the sky will darken then mist or small drops of rain will follow. Gives us time to run for shelter.

Now? NO. Excruciating heat then big drops of rain! In split second!

We have changed how nature does it’s way.

This is just one sign of the severity of damage people has done to nature.

Makes me scared even more of what human kind has been doing to Mother Earth.

I’m worried about what kind of weather my future kids will get to experience.

So please let us do our share in preserving and saving nature.

WE ONLY HAVE ONE.  Where can we go without it?

Like our own mothers, no matter what we do to Her, our Mother Nature still nurture us. But even She has her limits. Let’s not wait for Her wrath.

Bumpin’ Bumpin’

heide

Just bump into Heide Klum in the red carpet in the 61st Annual Emmy Awards. ehhehhehe

She’s always been gorgeous and svelte.

She’s about to pop next month and after I saw this photo I was a little scared I admit. It’s huge! Her bump is huge.

I guess I have this weird something wherein I dont feel comfortable seeing really big tummies. Saw some videos of pregnant women with multiple births and I cant look at them longer than 4 seconds….

another big one….

Ok then….. wheww!

In the Pink of Health (Then)
Sep 22nd, 2009 by niceyfemme

See, 5-6 years ago, I was in the pink of health.

Really! As in I dont eat anything fried then, always either boiled or steamed or baked. Always so conscious with the amount of oil in the food. (Now, fried fish is my best friend.)

Red meat never reaches my mouth. Only meats acceptable are chicken and fish. (Now, I let myself have a bite every month.)

I eat vegetables like crazy. Experimenting to cook different vegetable dishes is my then obsession. I eat ampalaya or bitter gourd with a tbsp of rice. I love munggo (sauteed mung beans) too. (Now, just once in a while, only when my Mom cooks it, or else I dont look for it because Im happy with egg.)

Fruits are my best friend. There’s always pineapple and watermelon at home. These two especially during summer, I eat like crazy. I can eat half of a big watermelon. I can eat a whole pineapple until my tongue starts to itch. (Yes, eating a lot of pineapple gives you that.)

I eat so little rice. In school I’ll order half cup then only eat half. So I eat only 1/4 cup. (Now, I eat equivalent to 2 cups huhuhuh!)

fried rice

When I need to eat out, my favorite food to order is Delifrance’s Salad with thousand island dressing on the side. (When I eat out, it’s either fried chicken or fried chicken.)   :(

I dont eat pasta then. If ever, I’d let myself have a couple of bites, that’s it. (Now, I eat a big whole plate regularly.)

I dont eat regular pizza, I eat Delifrance’s Veggie Pizza.

pizza

No potatoes, no other starchy vegetables. (My potatoes made a comeback in my diet, I love them that’s why.)

NO sweets. No cookies, no cakes. No ice cream. I cheat with myself by eating B.T.I.C. or frozen yogurt which tastes like the real ice cream. I wonder if they are still available. ( I have these once in awhile or whenever I baked them like the fudgy brownie in the fridge.)

I drank orange juice, extracted from the real thing regularly. (Not anymore.)

Never drink coffee then. I drink low fat milk in the morning.

Never drank any cola drink. (Now, I do drink them again, and the regular sugar laden stuff, huhuhu, I like Mountain Dew.)

I get my daily dose of exercise by walking in La Salle’s campus which is wow! I also always dance then. (No exercise anymore.)

Result? I was glowing! I now look at my photos then and Im like “Wow, my skin was nicer.” I haven’t seen that glowing skin in a long time. I look different, nice way different.

When I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror, I was surprised to see that my pores are so small I can barely seen them. And I’m not bloated at all! My tummy is so flat. Is it because of the veggie salad I had last night? Or the munching of yummy tomatoes in the last two days?

Whatever the reason maybe, Im glad. It somewhat gave me some inspiration to go back to before. Not as much inspiration as before but enough to give me a head start.

I hope I can continue really doing this… Taking this challenge is worth it if its going to bring me back to my healthier state.

3Ofus

See i’m now 24 years old.

But I still feel and act like im 12 heheh….

Still a Daddy’s Girl and a Mommy’s Girl…

(If Mommy asks, I’m a Mommy’s girl, get the idea?)

Today we watched a movie, a Vilma Santos movie.

We ate out. Forgot to take photos. :(

She had the healthy meal plate in Kenny Roger’s again…

She liked the salad so much that we decided to prepare that at home.

Did grocery shopping after. It was fun.

Then  here’s the homemade salad…

Driving with Daddy!
Sep 19th, 2009 by niceyfemme

Just had a very busy day…

Had my Dad and brothers and Nanay over…

It was fun…

Together with my beautiful mother we all went out for a drive….

He drives faster than I do…

But somehow I wasn’t nervous at all?

Why was that?

When other drivers drive fast (myself included) I get some chills?

Because I trust him, that’s why.

Chris Brown: Community Servant
Sep 17th, 2009 by niceyfemme

The R&B singer picked up trash and litter and will continue doing the 8 hour work day for the next 5 months. He started doing community service as part of his sentence for beating and choking Rihanna up.

Maybe this will get you into deep thinking.

chris-brown-community-service

According to authorities, “Brown begins his 8-hour work day at 8:00 AM when a Department of Corrections bus picks him up, along with 30-40 other offenders. Brown will wear a reflective orange vest and pick up trash and litter along highways and roads. He’ll also have to trim brush along medians, remove gang graffiti from the VCU campus, and wash the inside and outside of law enforcement vehicles.”

Good!
